After Maria came to Puerto Rico, luckily my home, my family and my pets were safe. Even if we got water inside the apartment it wasn't something to worry about. Since we had water bottles, food and batteries in the apartment we weren't desperate for anything. We had everything we needed. So we were lucky on that side, however we didn't had any electricity nor water. That lasted for a month and a half, and even if the electricity wasn't much of a problem after we ate what was inside the fridge; the water was something a worried us all the time. Thankfully it ended already. During that time without electricity we were forced to find ways to do the most basic things. Things like showering, doing the laundry, doing the dishes and even brushing our teeth were a challenge. but i gotta admit it was kind of fun. i feel sorry for all the people who really suffered Maria. But I know I cannot complain because compared to all those people who lose everything they had, for me hurricane Maria was nothing.
